First Video About To Launch
Yay! As you can see from the title, I am going to be launching my first video this weekend. Why the long wait? Well, its because I have been working on my tutorial. The tutorial will be maybe my third video and it needs a lot of work. I’ve been familiarizing myself with Adobe Premiere Pro and learning some techniques that’ll help me make my video look ultra cool. 
Plus, writing the script for the tutorial video is definitely helping me. Goodness, I have gone back and edited and found that the order of things I was going to film WAS NOT correct.. so yes, planning is helpful. Whodathunkit? Haha 
Also awaiting my pen tablet (dang you Amazon, whats taking so long??) and mulling over ideas for a logo. *sigh*

DFW Cosplay Gallifrey Descends on A-Fest
Hey-o! Labor Day weekend is when most people get on their boats, BBQ, and have some nice lake fun time – not for the DFW Cosplay Gallifrey folks! This weekend was (still is) Anime Fest (A-Fest) in Dallas, TX. It is being held at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Dallas. At first glance, the hotel is really nice and big but upon close inspection, it is definitely not of A-KON’s size. There weren’t many tables and artist alley participants.. oh well. The team came together for a photo shoot and I was actually able to meet the rest of the gang. Most of them. Dragon Con was also held this weekend, so… yeahhhh…

I’m almost done re-reading the book I’m going to be doing a review on. Funny thing is, every time you read a book again, you get something more out of it. I love the fact that I can glean a new meaning to a passage, see the foreshadowing I didn’t catch before, or just “see” new text in there that I somehow brushed through? How did that happen?? But I’m glad I was paying extra attention.

Got my software for video editing. Took a while to set that up and I am going to have to play with it a bit but I am going to enjoy every moment of it! I love new toys! This first video isn’t going to be amazing by any stretch of the imagination because I am going to do it simply. Filming later this week and hoping to have my video up this weekend… things are moving along!!!
